Domain Name Registration

MyWebCulture allows you extreme flexibility in setting your Selling Price for your Customers and Sub-Resellers for your Domain Registration Services. Typically, the Pricing module used by the system is a Slab based one, where you can offer automated discounts to your high volume Customers and Sub-Resellers. Setting your Selling Price for the Domain Registration Services is a mere 2 step process.

Step 1: Set your Pricing Slabs

You can define the Pricing Slabs depending upon the Total Receipts of your Customers/Sub-Resellers or the number of Hosting (Web Hosting [Linux and Windows] Orders + Email Hosting Orders) Orders purchased by your Customers/Sub-Resellers. The Selling Price to each Customer/Sub-Reseller is determined at the time of purchase depending upon the Total Receipts, the number of Hosting (Web Hosting [Linux and Windows] Orders + Email Hosting Orders) Orders, your Slab Pricing and the Customers'/Sub-Resellers' Specific Pricing.

IMPORTANT
  • The option to create Customer specific Pricing Slabs for Domain Registration Service will not be available for Resellers signing up after 16 March, 2010 or existing Resellers who, till 16 March, 2010, have not created any Pricing Slabs for their Customers.

  • Existing Resellers who already have defined Customer specific Pricing Slabs for Domain Registration Service can continue to add new Slabs and manage existing ones.

How to set Pricing Slabs?

  1. Login to your Control Panel from .

  2. Go to Settings -> Set Pricing, Plans and Promos.

  3. Click the Domain Registration link/button to set its Discount Slabs for your Customers and/or Sub-Resellers.

  4. Add a Slab based on Total Receipts or Hosting Orders and click the Update button.

  5. Add as many Slabs as required, in this manner.

Step 2: Setting your Selling Price

You can set the Selling Price as explained below:

  1. Login to your Control Panel from .

  2. Go to Settings -> Set Pricing, Plans and Promos.

  3. Click the Domain Registration link/button.

  4. On the succeeding page, you will find a list of Top Level Domains that you have chosen to sell. Click the TLD whose Pricing you wish to set.

  5. Here, set your Base Selling Price as well as Pricing for any Slabs that you may have configured, for both your Customers as well as your Sub-Resellers.

  6. IMPORTANT

    • The Base Selling Price cannot be empty.

    • Each Slab must have a Pricing lower than the previous Slab.

    • You may enter zero (0) in any field. For example, if you set the Domain Name Renewal price for .COM domains as 0 for a particular Slab for your Customers, then a Customer falling under that Slab would be able to Renew .COM domain names for free.

    • When you set the Price to zero (0), an Invoice is still raised for the Domain Name Registration Product but its value is zero (0). This is done only from the perspective of recording the transaction. Your Customer/Sub-Reseller is never asked to pay for this Invoice.

    • A Slab can have the Price field empty, in which case it will be ignored.

  7. Click the Update Pricing button.
IMPORTANT

The SuperSite and PartnerSite contain Pricing information about the Products and Services you offer to your Customers and Resellers respectively. This data is downloaded to your SuperSite and PartnerSite from your Control Panel and cached (stored) on the SuperSite and PartnerSite Server respectively. Hence, you would need to refresh the cache of your SuperSite and PartnerSite once you have completed the above process. You can accomplish this from within your Control Panel itself by clicking Tools -> Reload SuperSite & PartnerSite Cache -> SuperSite & PartnerSite Domains and Additional Services Data.
